For Karen Jordan, dancing is everything. She began dancing when she was only six years old. In high school, she was the Majorette Captain. She is currently the Pep Squad Sponsor in a school setting. Karen was also the majorette sponsor from 2008-2011. She started teaching groups in 2009 and loved it. Karen has earned her Associate of Art degree in business, a Bachelor of Science in management , a Master of Science in Early Childhood studies, and a graduate certificate in Early Childhood Advocacy and Public Policy.
With Ricky Jordan Sr, Karen founded the New Orleans East Satin Dolls School of Dance NP. Through the art of dancing, the school continues to change countless lives in the New Orleans East area of Louisiana. Along with our Dance Instructors, Coaching staff, Shantelle Robinson, Robin Smith, and Greyson Trotter are the coach, Liturgical, parade, field show, and more. Coaches with skills and their journey are skilled in basic techniques, modern, and African; All coaches bring mad skills to the studio!
